I could have had the inspection but the only one open on Saturday is an hour north of Lawnside and DV Motors wouldn't allow that. I had to trust them and their (presumed) in-house Bimmer mechanic who was not there! And who should be advised that a 25 year old Salvadorian mechanic-in-training figured it out just by driving the car, confirmed minutes after putting it up on the lift. I have bought about 5 used BMW's prior to this, cheated on only one of them. However, when it failed MD inspection they immediately sent a check to replace a bad spare tire and its bent rim!. Later they replaced a dashboard display with pixalation problems (a Bimmer defect), and got reimbursed, I presume from BMW Montvale. After the bad news, that VA company leapt into Accountable Mode, to their credit.
Let's see how long mine lasts:
$757 (discounted by my nephew/mechanic) sway bar links and struts were bad and undisclosed by the couple that run this shop. I drove 300 miles round trip for a rare BMW 5 series wagon and noticed far more "minor dings & scratches" than reported over several phone calls and emails in advance) + a few Not Minor dings (paint gone) and an undisclosed dent. These were noticeable and I foolishly settled for only $150 discount.
Additionally, although claiming a recent oil change, the gasket leaks and is quite time-consuming for a simple job, said my nephew after I returned to Maryland..
I thought that the days of unaccountable used car salesmen was part of the past. Don't buy a car here without a THIRD PARTY mechanical inspection. AM
This is the BEST CAR DEALERSHIP IVE EVER DELT WITH IN MY LIFE!! I told the owner Kyle that he was too nice to be a used car salesman. You will NOT find one lemon on his car lot. He bought a car at a auction then later found out it was under water THAT CAR WENT RIGHT BACK. I referred my father, siblings and my children there. Another great thing about Deleware Valley Motors is Kyle has a mechanic on premises a few days a week to fix any problems u have AT A REASONABLE PRICE. He backs up any and all work. Being a female that's been ripped off in the past, I can't begin to tell u how comforting that is to me. I had just read a bad review on here and I can honestly tell u that it's BS!! I had my car for almost 4 years, if I need help with anything Kyle cares and assists me with anything I need. Case n point.....They don't do oil changes, they get referred to Posh in Stratford. I've been there several times n Fred is EXCELLENT AS WELL. Some people will do or say anything to get a bargain even if it means trashing the business. SHAME ON YOU, YOU LYING CON ARTIST!! Thank you Kyle!! I will continue referring your business to anyone who wants to listen.

I reported this to the couple in a polite, informative manner and received a response blaming me for not taking it to the local BMW shop with whom they have a relationship - he is NOT a disinterested third party.
